It’s a bird, it’s a plane, wait… does it really matter?

Few things fascinate kids more than airplanes.  Fortunately, we will be learning about it by building something else that kids love – paper airplanes!

In this lesson kids will:

  • Practice coordination in folding paper airplanes
  • Learn four basic forces behind flying
  • See flight forces in action!
  • Throw a lot of paper airplanes


Time to Complete

15+ minutes prep time, 30 hour lesson time


Take it Outside
We design all our games and lesson to be done outside but this lesson CAN BE DONE IN THE CLASSROOM. But we suggest you take it outside if you can. It can easily be done in the schoolyard or the backyard.
