Playground Physics – Lesson

At this very moment in time, every person in the world is dealing with physics.  Whether you are sewing a dress, fishing on a boat, or consoling yourself with a pint of ice cream watching Lifetime, you are experiencing physics in some way.  It is all around us and is always affecting the way we move and live.  So buckle up and prepare yourself for a lesson that will help you understand why your dance moves are so awkward!

In this lesson we will

  • Visit a playground to learn about the fundamental forces acting on all objects
  • Throw a ball, go down a slide
  • Have a tug-of-war to learn about opposing forces
